I am a vessel
Floating
On the waters of emotion
Love increases the buoyancy
Hate adds to surface tension
Envy sends me tacking against the wind
I am a vessel
Carrying
The water to your lips
Frequency keeps you satiated
But you forget to drink
You discover thirst
Grabbing, you knock me off the shelf
Shattered
I am a vessel
In pieces on the floor
A broken vessel
Isn’t
A vessel anymore
I am not a vessel
I don’t carry anything
I don’t get carried along
Anymore
