Charmed Dreams

Some dreams are sent with mythic intent

Flung from a distant Olympic height

To sow conspiracy for love’s delight

Propel the faintest glimmer into life extant

From my wild sky open temple

Built on stone cold ropes that once reached the very stars

Amidst oaken groves I wander

Wondering at the pendulum descending

From the thin black string

My fingers clutch

Realizing that this string is no more

Nor no less tangible than the invisible one

That binds our hearts

That pulls our thoughts

Across a universal void

To Elysian fields where we will find

Sweet solace in love’s embrace

And share our dreams through each pore and cell

Annointing one another with the balm of peace

Until the dream shall cease

  1. oh! This is wonderful–love that wild sky open temple.

  2. Seb

Epic – grand, vast and epic!

  3. From the hilltop behind my place I can see the Olympic Mountains, of Washington State, which adds a little inspiration even if its half a world away from Greece. The hilltop was mythically created when two coast salish maidens used a rope to escape the star people and the coiled rope was then turned into the stone of the hill. It’s easy to think of it in terms of a sacred place, hence the wild sky open temple. I really did just get a pendulum and it is very….intriguing.
