  1. Hmmm geat in theory I guess it would depend on who you got sat with and what their idea of conversation is. I quite often feel like a duck out of water in the work canteen as the only topic of conversation tends to be which soaps or reality tv programmes they are all watching none of which really interest me

  2. I don’t think it would work the same in a workplace setting, its more for restaurants where you aren’t likely to know anyone. This concept is often seen when one is travelling abroad, and apparently on cruise ships. Practically, it might be something like going to a golf course on your own and playing a round with 3 other folks you’ve never met. You go to the restaurant, wait to fill a table with other conversationalists, then you are seated.
