In my solitary singularity
I am like a monk but my church
Is deconstructed
Its liturgy is limitless and lost
I follow no one
In my solitary singularity
Hermitlike, I inhabit my cave
Having one sided conversations with truth
Never winning arguments with silence
It’s ideal
But lonely
In my solitary singularity

Oh, I like the limitless lost liturgy. Brilliant, David.
Thanks Susan. I was trying to capture a sense of my approach to spirituality – I think all faiths have a lot offer, but they all have their limitations.
Yes, they do.
I gave up organized religion a few years back, I’ve been learning to get to know myself since then. Meditation is my solitary singularity 🙂 I agree with Susan, brilliant!
Thanks, you’re very kind.
