Spring

182676_10151292253112036_1169671596_n     Green fuses forced and driven

      Flag the understory

Adorn long fingered branches like engagement rings

Promising a night to come when they’ll unfurl

     Spread out deliciously

Throbbing with the coursing of sap through stem

To recline in the freshness of uncloaked nakedness
