My friend says I sound upbeat and happy
Assumes that all is well in my world
Which of course it isn’t
But I choose to be positive
Happiness can find its way anywhere
Even into dark corners
Flawed beauty is beauty nonetheless
So I choose rose colored glasses to distort my perception
