I would drown in your eyes
If you’d leave them unguarded
But you keep armed sentries on alert
To repel invaders such as me
Singing choruses of I’m not looking for a relationship
Which isn’t the first time I’ve heard that covered
You seem surprised
When others find you attractive
More than a little pissed off as you dance away
I would drown in your eyes
If you’d leave them unguarded
Since they leave me breathless anyway
